90-day · Week 10

Days 71–77 · Scripts

Say it once. Do not explain it twice.

Teaching

The clearer no is half the January page. This week you spend it. Steal from scripts. A no that requires a TED talk is still a yes. If the no would make you unsafe, do not use this week — get help built for safety.

This week’s work

  1. Read Sentences you can steal.
  2. Pick one: overdue no, Sunday call, decision away, hour in the diary.
  3. Say it or send it. Date it. Do not explain it twice.

On each path

Standard. A recurring meeting or a favour that only travels one way.

Empty House. A role that is still “mum” in a house without packed lunches.

Diaspora. Weather or five honest minutes. Not both.

Capacity-first. The 23:10 Slack. Hand it away in writing.

Time · trap · if you cannot

Time. 10 minutes with scripts. The no itself should be one sentence, once.

Trap. A TED-talk no. A group announcement. Explaining it twice so it becomes a yes.

If you cannot. Write it. Send in Week 11. If saying it would make you unsafe, do not use this week — get help built for safety.

This week’s box

Done when

One no is dated. If you only wrote it, that is Week 10 at Capacity-first. Send it in Week 11 if the week allows.
